Transfer of data to the USA and the Data Privacy Framework
We would like to point out that on 10 July 2023, the EU Commission issued an adequacy decision on the EU-US data protection framework (Data Privacy Framework) in accordance with Article 45 (1) GDPR. As a result, organizations or companies (as data importers) in the U.S. that are registered on a public list as part of the Data Privacy Framework self-certification provide an adequate level of protection for data transfers. This thus represents a valid legal basis for the use of certified US services. For all purposes mentioned in this privacy policy, which use services from US providers with an appropriate level of protection, the legal basis states "Data Privacy Framework". You can find out whether a provider of a service is certified directly on the website of the Date Privacy Framework .
If a provider is not certified by the Data Privacy Framework, this will be explicitly mentioned in the respective purpose and a valid alternative legal basis will be cited.
Storage period
We will only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes or for contractual or statutory retention periods.
If you have not actively used your customer account for a period of 24 months (e.g. no registration, no booking, no profile change), we reserve the right to automatically delete your account, including the stored personal data. You will be notified by email at least 30 days before a scheduled deletion and will have the opportunity to object to the deletion or reactivate your account during this period.
Disclosure
We will only share your personal information with third parties if required to do so by law or if it is necessary to provide our services. We will never sell your data to third parties without explicit consent.

We protect personal data by means of appropriate technical and organisational measures that are in line with current industry practices. As far as possible, this includes, in particular, pseudonymisation and encryption of personal data during transmission and storage.
